Course Overview

A high intensity focused ultrasound facial (HIFU), a non-invasive treatment for facial aging and face and body skin tightening. This treatment provides some of the benefits of a facelift without the need for surgery or the downtime.

A HIFU facial uses ultrasound to create heat at a deep level in the skin. This heat damages targeted skin cells, causing the body to stimulate a healing response. To do this, the body produces collagen to aid in cell regrowth. Collagen is a substance in the skin that gives it structure and elasticity in turn reducing fine lines and wrinkles.

HIFU is dramatically effective in the following areas of concern:

  • Tightening the skin on the neck
  • Reducing the appearance of jowls
  • Lifting drooping eyelids or eyebrows
  • Smoothing wrinkles on the face
  • Smoothing and tightening lose skin on other areas if the body such as tummy, arms, thighs etc.

HIFU can also be used for Vaginal Rejuvenation, machines have probes to complete both body and face as well as vaginal treatment. The Vaginal Rejuvenation training can be completed as a separate course.

No pre-study is currently required for this course.

Is a deposit required to book?

As you can understand, we only have a few places available on each course. For this reason, we take a deposit to ensure that the place is secured for a student. This protects us against last minute cancellations and places that could have been offered to another potential student. For this course, a £500 is required in order to secure your place.

Does IODS arrange models for me?

Yes, we will arrange all models for you unless you wish to bring a model of your own. They will still be charged our normal model fee to cover products and disposables.
